We offer you a series of frames with wooden mat, these are real wooden frames worked by hand by our expert workers, the wooden mat is patinated with a wax stamp always made by hand with golden thread.
Frames with wooden mats are fantastic for framing classic and antique style works, they are less suited to modern style and in fact many contemporary works do not require wooden mats.
This fabulous series of frames is suitable for environments such as homes, hotels, restaurants, art exhibitions, museums and of course private collections.
The wooden mat can be combined with classic and baroque frames. The function of the wooden mat is to detach the work from the frame, giving it a neutral color space that particularly enhances works with complex subjects.
All the frames offered are a highly artisanal product made in our historic laboratory in Italy near Milan, the cradle of taste, fashion and design.
How to order
How to order a product.
- Measure your work to be framed with a tape measure do not use ribbons.
- The measurement you must enter to order is the size of your photo, then we leave 3/4 mm of air to let your photo enter comfortably.
- If you need to have the frame in the external measurement, that is, the overall size, after placing the order, send us an email with the specification to consider the measurement indicated as the external measurement.
- Select whether you want the hook to hang horizontally or vertically.
- All frames offered are supplied without glass or backing, except those where it is specified that glass and backing are included.
- If you need furniture frames, enter the exact size you want and tell us in the appropriate notes space not to add any tolerance, we will make the frame the exact size you request.
- The maximum size that can be inserted is 100x150 cm if you are interested in larger sizes you can use the " unassembled " option which you can also use for smaller sizes saving money
- If you need XXL size frames you can order them with the " unassembled " option you will receive them with a milling on the back where the dowels that we provide you will be placed, it is an easy and very professional assembly as if done by a professional
